About Emaar South

The 7-square-kilometer development of Emaar South is located between the intersection of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, close to Al Maktoum International Airport and the Expo 2020 site. There are several different types of property in Emaar South as the complex offers a new concept of multi-level townhomes and standard townhouses, self-contained villas, as well as apartments.
All six subcommunities are connected by tree-lined boulevards, walking and cycling paths, and an internal public transport network including autonomous vehicles. There is also an 18-hole championship golf course and 25 neighbourhood green parks where residents can enjoy leisurely walks and other outdoor activities. The other amenities will include a basketball court, outdoor swimming pool, a children’s pool and playground, a retail center, a gymnasium, health club, restaurants, schools and a mosque. Around 53,000 sq. m will be housed by retail and dining areas within the entire development.
There are plenty of different indoor and outdoor activities to keep you occupied throughout the year, from dining and shopping, to enjoying picnics in the parks. Anyone is easily able to find something to suit their taste. Emaar South is home to a wide range of leisure and lifestyle facilities, including a variety of restaurants, shopping malls, a world-class gym, a resort, and a community center. One of the most notable landmarks of the neighbourhood is The Emaar South Golf Course, which is an 18-hole championship course, and the closest beach to Emaar South is JBR Beach which takes 30 minutes’ by car. For example, the Discovery Gardens – Kids Park is a great option for an active family weekend, and is located 30 minutes’ away from Emaar South. Within the same distance are two more parks full of great outdoor activities called Eastlands Park Motorcity and Khansoor Park District 12. The nearest sports facilities are accessible within 25-30 minutes’, however new gyms in Emaar South are expected to open once the development is completed. There is also the outdoor Splash Pool located at the Aloft Dubai South Hotel in which parents and children can enjoy.
Lovers of shopping will be glad to hear that there are two shopping malls nearby – City Centre Me’aisem and Ibn Battuta Mall, both of which are located within a 30 minute drive from the development. Besides having plenty of shopping options, visitors will also find a food court located in both malls.
Infrastructure
Emaar South development is situated on the outskirts of Dubai, nevertheless, it is well-connected to the rest of the city. To reach the city center one can take the Emirates Road (E611) or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311). Both roads are connected to the main artery of Dubai called the Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), that will take you straight into Downtown Dubai.
Currently the nearest metro stations to the development are UAE Exchange Metro Station, Danube Metro Station and Dubai Investment Park Metro Station 2, which can be reached within 25 minutes by car. It takes 1 hour to reach Abu Dhabi from Emaar South.

Economical appeal Emaar South
Emaar South will be home to 1,000,000 residents once completed. It is expected that most of the potential buyers will be specialists working in the neighbouring areas of Dubai Wholesale City, the Dubai World Central Free Zone and Al Maktoum International Airport, as well as in Dubai South itself.
